360 degree assessments are an effective tool for building a development plan for leaders. CheckPoint 360™ is a simple, practical assessment that gives individuals and organizations a clear roadmap to improve leadership effectiveness.

Process

Self-Assessment: Leaders complete an online self-evaluation, assessing their capabilities across eight key management competencies and 18 skill sets.

Feedback Gathering:  Direct reports, peers, supervisors, and even customers are given the opportunity to make observations about the same behaviors.  The questions are posed and confined to observations of behavior. This is a key difference with the CheckPoint360™ and keeps the feedback clear and concrete. Opinions and value judgments are minimized greatly.

Data Analysis: Once all the feedback is received, a comprehensive report is generated. The participant then gets a valuable opportunity to see:

      • Comparative analysis: An opportunity to see alignment (or lack) between the leader’s self-assessment with the observations of others.
      • Behavior specific feedback: Detailed insights into each competency,  skill set, and leadership behavior provides the clarity needed to adjust and build new skills.

Development Plan: The CheckPoint360™ provides a recommended development plan with detailed prescription to improve. The participant and their supervisor can tailor the plan to address specific needs and organizational goals.
